English Teacher – Part Time (3 Days per Week)

This is a part-time position (3 days per week) with an immediate start, covering the rest of the academic year until July. There is a strong potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Teach English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love of English

• Assess and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations

• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and contribute to a supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

• Is passionate about English and committed to raising student attainment

• Reliable, organised and confident managing a classroom

• Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers alike
