Teacher of Science – Southend-on-Sea

Start Date: September 2025
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a successful secondary school and sixth form based in Southend-on-Sea, is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their dynamic department from September 2025.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

  • Have a strong subject knowledge across at least one Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

  • Be passionate about delivering engaging and challenging lessons.

  • Have high expectations for all students and a commitment to raising attainment.

  • Be enthusiastic, hardworking, and keen to contribute to the wider life of the school.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Science department.
