Our client, a reputable high school based in Chelmsford, is seeking a committed Science Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons, fostering a love of the subject and encouraging students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.

  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages scientific enquiry.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.

  • Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSEs, through focused lessons and revision sessions.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.

  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other staff to ensure the well-being and success of students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a combined science background).

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
