Job description

 Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a full-time Science Teacher to work within the Lincoln Area, to deliver an enjoyable and targeted curriculum, delving into the natural sciences and teaching lab skills.

 As a full-time Science Teacher, you will aim to deliver a structured syllabus based around either physics, biology, chemistry, or all three. Alongside this, your will be aspiring to:

 Plan and deliver lessons on science topics, such as the subjects detailed above and their sub-divisions

  • Assessing students learning styles and needs, and developing strategies to accommodate for them
  • Preparing students for their examinations and helping to achieve their full potential

Candidate Requirements

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, other staff and parents
  • Strong interpersonal skills to understand the individual needs of their students
  • Analytical skills to assess the educational needs, strengths and weaknesses of students
  • Technology and Lab-based skills to deliver content in a unique and modern style
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Hold an Enhanced Child DBS or be willing to apply through one with ourselves
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and recognised first-aid certificate
  • A full UK driving license

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
