Science teacher required in Darlington to start in September

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school in Darlington to recruit for a Science teacher to start in September. The Ofsted graded "good" school are seeking an experienced Science teacher who shares their same desire to succeed. They are developing an academic culture where the highest standards are expected of their staff and students so it is vital that the ideal candidate has a passion and enthusiasm for your subject. The school displays respectful, exemplary behaviour as well as good leadership qualities which results in exemplary attendance and punctuality

Overview of the role

  • Required to teach Science to KS3 and KS4
  • Have excellent subject knowledge; display good behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Follow the structured schemes of work to ensure students are progressing from KS3 to KS4
  • Carry out a range of tasks from planning lessons, assignments and classwork which will prove challenging for students
  • Ensure you establish excellent working relationships with groups and individuals to encourage pupils to actively get involved in their own learning
