Full time Teacher of Resistant Materials required from January 2020 or earlier for a large Bury based Secondary school fixed term until the end of the academic year.
The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint an outstanding and skilled Teacher of Resistant Materials to join their extremely popular department which is thoroughly enjoyed amongst pupils across Key Stages 3 & 4. - Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490.
The Resistant Materials facilities include several large workshops which boast access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. As the incoming Teacher of Resistant Materials you will be required to work independently and in collaboration as part of a team within the Department and greater school, alongside supporting the development of the Resistant Materials curriculum.
The role will also involve planning, preparing and teaching to assess and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils across Key stage 3 & 4. You will also be required to demonstrate a continued commitment to raising attainment amongst all pupils across school equally.
Located at the heart of Bury this diverse Secondary school has just over 800 pupils enrolled aged 11-16. The school can be easily accessed via the M66 motorway and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Salford, Preston and Rochdale and there is also an abundance of public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
