Full-Time Teacher of Maths required (KS2 teachers welcome to Apply)

Salary - MPS/UPS

Start - January 2020 (full-time/permanent) 

As KS2-3 transition in Maths will be a key element of this role, the school would especially welcome applications from KS2 teachers to this position. 

Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply for this position. 

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large RC secondary school situated to the North of Greater Manchester to support with the recruitment of a Teacher of Maths, ideally with experience working with pupils transitioning from KS2-KS3. This position will commence from January 2020, and will result in a permanent contract for the successful Teacher of Maths.

Our client RC secondary school are working in partnership with a National Teaching School, and since they joined in partnership - improvements have been seen to behaviour, attendance and attainment. The school are committed to working proactively to ensure excellent outcomes for all young people. The incoming Teacher of Maths will be expected to plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies, whilst attending departmental meetings to monitor progress and boost attainment across the Key Stages. 

Situated in North Manchester, our partner RC secondary school can easily be reached via the M60 motorway. With a train station nearby, public transportation links are accessible from neighbouring areas Blackley, Rochdale and central Manchester.
