Teacher of Mathematics – Secondary School & Sixth Form (Southend-On-Sea)
Location: Southend-On-Sea
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Our client, a well-established secondary school and sixth form based in Southend-On-Sea, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join their successful department. The school is committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning and offers a welcoming and collaborative environment for both staff and students.

The Role:

  • Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students

  • Supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes in GCSE and A-Level examinations

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • A strong academic background in Mathematics

  • A commitment to high standards of achievement and behaviour

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • A passion for making Mathematics accessible, enjoyable, and inspiring
