Teacher of Maths – Essex – Start as soon as possible

Location: Essex
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Our client, a well-regarded academy in Essex, is seeking a motivated and skilled Teacher of Maths to join their dedicated and high-performing Mathematics department as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a school that values excellence in teaching and is committed to providing students with the best possible educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Use data effectively to track progress and implement strategies for raising achievement.

  • Create a supportive and challenging classroom environment that encourages student growth.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and extra-curricular Maths initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent overseas qualification.

  • Have experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.

  • Be passionate about Maths and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Be a collaborative team member with a reflective approach to teaching and learning.
