We are seeking an exceptional, ambitious and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join a 'Good' school (Ofsted 2018) from September. You will join a forward thinking department whose team is motivating and inspiring to pupils and other member of staff. We are looking for someone who will add to the strong team and contribute to the high standards of Geography teaching. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for the students. The department boasts great facilities with modern technology integrated into it.

This post would suit an NQT or experienced Teacher with a passion for this subject. The school are open to exploring all options providing candidates have UK QTS or overseas equivalent. The school support NQTs with timetabled contact time with their mentor and allowance for further PPA time in observational periods.

The Geography department follow the AQA specification which includes living with the physical environment, challenges in the human environment, geographical applications and geographical skills. They provide excellent off site educational opportunities including local trips and oversea residential visits.

In order to apply for this role, candidates must have UK QTS or overseas equivalent. The school would ideally be looking for a local teacher to Waterlooville who can provide consistency and longevity to the pupils. In return the school offers a comprehensive CPD programme which differs depending on where you are in your career and how you would like to progress.
