Teacher of Geography – Permanent Position in Andover (Start by January 2026)

Are you a dedicated Teacher of Geography looking for a rewarding, long-term teaching opportunity in Hampshire?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Andover who are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department on a permanent basis, starting by January 2026 at the latest.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team, delivering inspiring Geography lessons that ignite curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, contributing to the continued success and progress of the department.

The Role:

  • Permanent Teacher of Geography position
  • Start date: January 2026 (or earlier if available)
  • Deliver engaging Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Plan, assess, and inspire progress through high-quality teaching
  • Play an active role in the wider school community and curriculum development

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education
  • Be committed to supporting all learners to achieve their full potential
  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude to the classroom
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills
