Geography Teacher – Andover – November 2025 Start
Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher ready to inspire the next generation? Teaching Personnel is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Andover seeking a dedicated educator to join their team from November 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging, thought-provoking Geography lessons that ignite curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them.
About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and inclusive curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll be part of a supportive Humanities department, committed to academic excellence and student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and fieldwork opportunities.
- Support the pastoral care of students as a Form Tutor.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
