Teacher of Geography – Andover – Start After Half Term or by January 2026

Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher ready to make an impact this academic year? A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Andover is seeking a motivated Teacher of Geography to join their humanities department as soon as possible after the October half term, with a latest start date of January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can bring Geography to life in the classroom – inspiring students to explore the world around them, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of global and environmental issues.

About the Role:

  • Full-time position starting after the October half term (latest start January 2026)
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and achievement
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help all learners succeed
  • Be part of a collaborative Humanities team that values innovation and creativity

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or experienced unqualified teacher
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Geography
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of students
