Teacher of Food and Nutrition for September 2019

Job description

For September, on behalf of our client school, we are looking to recruit an experienced teacher of Food and Nutrition who can demonstrate that they have expert knowledge of the national curriculum and track record of GCSE results. The school is looking someone that is ambitious and able to drive the department forward. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunity to join their middle leadership team as a subject leader.

The school is a progressive one which over the last year has demonstrated significant improvement in the quality of their teaching and learning and boasts a vibrant atmosphere with creating opportunities to make a real difference to the lives of their young people, their driving force.   • Flexible and adaptable to be able to differentiate effectively to provide an inclusive education for all
  • Driven to improve the quality of teaching across the entire department and can effectively contribute to the continual professional development of their colleagues on inset days as well as being pro active about their own CPD
  • Is a teacher who is inspiring to students and staff alike and can positively generate a love for the subject demonstrating the value of the subject and skills developed in the real world
