Teaching Personnel are working with large thriving oversubscribed 11-18 Comprehensive situated in beautiful surroundings close to the New Forest and the Hampshire/Dorset coastline, who are looking for a full time teacher of English until January 2020 to cover a maternity.

The English Department works hard to teach students to speak and write both fluently and creatively so that they can communicate their emotions and ideas to others. They have a big focus on reading, as they find this enables students the chance to develop culturally, intellectually, socially, emotionally and spiritually. The teachers look to promote high standards of language and literacy, equipping students with a strong command of the spoken and written word, and to develop their love of literature.

The English department is looking to recruit a qualified English Teacher to join their successful team as soon as possible. Both Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply for this role.

You must be:

* Passionate about teaching English and be able to teach this up to KS5.

* Able to contribute to the development of the curriculum and have a vision for English enrichment

* A good communicator with outstanding planning and organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team

* Committed to wider school life and be willing to engage in a range of extra-curricular activities
