The opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, conscientious and dynamic practitioner to join a Design & Technology Department from January 2020. If you share the belief that learning is a lifelong journey for students and staff alike then tell us why!
The school is an 11—16 comprehensive school of 1080 students, situated in Brighton. The school is rated ’Good’ by Ofsted, and value CPD very highly.
The school are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher to contribute to the teaching of both KS3 & KS4 Design Technology programmes. Knowledge of engineering would be advantageous. This post is equally suited to an experienced teacher or an NQT looking for an exciting first position in a supportive school. What matters the most is that you are a talented and innovative practitioner with a passion for the subject.
The successful candidate will:
- have a passion for the Teaching and Learning of Technology making it an enjoyable subject for all of the students;
- be someone with the belief that every child does matter and that all children can make outstanding progress and reach their full potential;
- continually reflect upon and improve their practice; have outstanding interpersonal skills;
- be someone who is dedicated to a team and who thrives on working collaboratively with colleagues.
