An excellent primary school in Southampton is looking for an experienced Intervention Teacher to work with groups of pupils (approx. 10 pupils at a time) to raise their attainment in Maths and English on a full-time basis.

You will be working with groups of pupils (approx. 10 at a time) who need more focus on progressing academically. You will be expected to confidently plan your group work with a focus on Maths and English. You will be working alongside the class teachers in monitoring pupil progression.

You will also have good behaviour management and will be able to maintain pupils focus on work. Your objective is to raise levels of understanding across the pupils, and also help with self-confidence and enjoying school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
