Are you an experienced profound and multiple learning needs teacher based in Brent?

The School has 294 pupils aged 3 to 19 and caters for a wide range of complex needs; all levels of learning, communication, ASC, physical, medical and sensory impairment. The school takes pride in its inclusive philosophy and our commitment that all its children can make progress and it is their entitlement. There are more than 200 highly trained and experienced staff at TVS, including teachers, teaching assistants, personal care staff, lunchtime supervisors, therapists, administration and technical staff, site management and family workers.

Benefits:

  • Annual leave of up to 33 days (rising to 35 days after five years' service). An extra three days of leave are also awarded in the "anniversary years" of service from ten years onwards (eg 10, 15, 20 years), taking holiday entitlement to 38 days for that year. The entitlements are pro rata for part time and term time staff.
  • Pension scheme offering a contribution 6% of gross salary, provided you contribute a minimum of 4%, or alternative schemes for staff in teaching positions

There is an extensive and comprehensive training programme in place for all the community, including parents and other schools and organisations.

The school believe in a transdisciplinary approach to supporting pupils, an exciting curriculum with an emphasis on developing communication skills and independence, a focus on the Arts, physical development and enrichment opportunities, including practise and preparation for adult life. This provides excellent opportunities for the pupils to be included and contribute to the wider community.
