We are currently recruiting for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Ferryhill.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education and development.

The Role

• Supporting pupils within the EYFS classroom
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and daily routines
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and educational development
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children within EYFS or primary settings
• Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
• Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
