Intervention / PPA Teacher

  • Litherland
  • Part-Time | Starting September 2026

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary School in Litherland for an Intervention / PPA Teacher to join their supportive team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to helping pupils reach their full potential while delivering engaging lessons across the primary age range.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver high-quality intervention sessions to support pupil progress

  • Provide PPA cover across different year groups

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Work closely with class teachers and support staff

  • Inspire and motivate children through creative teaching approaches

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching within a primary school setting

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills

  • Is adaptable, organised, and enthusiastic

  • Has a passion for raising attainment and supporting all learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
