The Role

We are looking to appoint a committed and skilled Part-Time KS2 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering engaging, creative and well-structured learning experiences that support both academic achievement and personal development.

This position is for the full academic year, starting September 2026, to cover maternity leave.

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the school’s curriculum and core values
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and respect
• Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners, inspiring pupils to achieve their best
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the school’s dynamic learning culture
• Provide constructive feedback and supportive assessment to promote pupil progress

Person Specification

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, pupil wellbeing and progress
• Show creativity and flexibility to engage a range of learning styles
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
