About the job:

• The children’s needs include Autism, varying degrees of learning difficulties, physical disabilities or communication and interaction difficulties.
• You will make lessons and activities accessible and all inclusive
• You will be paid between GBP110-GBP140 a day depending on the role and experience
• You will work alongside a welcoming team including support staff and medical staff to ensure the best for your students
• In a day to day role you may need a driving license and your own vehicle to travel to different locations

About you:

• Previous experience with SEN students is preferable, but we will also consider newly qualified teachers for the role
• Experience in care settings, children’s homes or with students in mainstream schools
• We want teachers whose personalities shine and can promote the social development of students as well as academic progress
• You will be confident in creating individual lesson plans tailored to the ability of each young person
• You will need relevant qualifications, and a DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to get one)
• Most importantly you will be an encouraging mentor and positive role model!
