A school on the uotskirts of Preston are seeking Teaching / Support Assistants to support the needs of their students with ASC and Complex Needs. The school is small, providing education for a maximum of 25 young people and is Ofsted graded "Good."
The school specialises in helping young people who have Statements of Special Educational Needs, and Education, Care and Health Plans, focusing on mild to severe learning difficulties and/ or those with Autism. The school is well equipped with flexible learning spaces including a high specification sensory studio and outdoor play areas.
Teachers at the school employ a range of teaching methods including TEACCH, PECS, Intensive Interaction, Sensory Integration and Positive Behaviour Support.
This is a fantastic opportunity and would benefit candidates with experience in SEN, particularly ASC.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
