Have you recently finished university and are looking for your next step?
Have you ever thought about teaching?
Would you want to work in a rewarding environment and become a role model?
If so, our close client secondary school in Swansea are looking for someone like you.
The role would be working with children between the ages 11-16 either in small groups or on 1:1 basis. The pupils struggle with their behaviour and are looking for someone to look up to whilst being at school.
It would begin immediately on a temporary contract up until the summer but with great potential for a permanent school contract in September if you are the right fit.
The schools Headteacher has asked that the teaching assistant is degree educated and has a confident can do attitude. They want someone who isn't afraid of a challenge and wants to make a real difference to a pupil's life. No teaching qualification is needed.
The school is located just off the M4 and is accessible via public transport. There are multiple bus routes that go to the school from the centre of Swansea and surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are thinking about getting into teaching and applying for a PGCE!
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
