Behaviour Intervention Worker required for a primary school located in the Bradford area.
Are you experienced supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? Are you able to put effective strategies in place in order to avoid confrontational and disruptive behaviour?
If so a Good school located in Bradford are currently looking to employ a behaviour intervention specialist to work with small groups and pupils on a 1:1 basis developing positive behaviour strategies and carrying out a nurturing role within school. The school is looking for someone who will understand and celebrate their different backgrounds and meet their individual needs.
In order to be successful you will need to:
- Have a strong background dealing with pupils with challenging behaviour
- Preferably team teach trained, however not essential
- Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team
- Have a good understanding of safeguard and procedures
- Be outgoing and have a strong classroom presence
- Be experienced working with pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis
- Have school based experience and be able to implement a range of behaviour interventions.
- Have a DBS on the update service or willing to have one done
- Valid passport
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Ruth Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.
