We are currently seeking experienced support workers for full time positions in a Secondary School / Residential unit based in Andover. The specialist residential care unit works in coordination with the secondary school, providing outstanding levels of care, providing help for children and young people; this includes varying needs such as:
- Hearing impairment
- Victims of child sexual abuse
- Exploitation
- Drug and alcohol abuse
The provision provides outstanding support for their service users, working to progress their independent living, stabilising their lives through emotional support. The provision is looking for new members of staff to support the children and young adults.
This is an excellent opportunity for applicants who have the desire to make this a long-term career, as the provision is looking for full time members of staff to go on a permanent basis.
Previous experience is not completely necessary, however is suitable to this role. The type of relevant experience includes:
- Residential / Care Support
- Youth Work
- Support Work
- Teaching Assistant
