Support Worker

I am looking for Support Worker to work for a fantastic SEN facility in Louth. The individual must have experience working with Moderate to Severe learning difficulties ranging to very complex. The role is ideal for an individual from a Care, Support or SEN Teaching Assistant background.

The role requires you to work within a special needs school either 1 on 1 or in small groups with children who have autism, speech, language, communication and or physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature and will be passionate about providing support to children of all ages and abilities. You will have to commute or live around the Louth.

The Role:

• Supporting the delivery of all lessons and helping to engage students
• Encouraging and developing the students confidence and independence
• Liaise with teachers and support staff to develop education plans
• Age range 4-18
• Delivering life skills
• Adaptable and be able to work in any situation
• Supporting individuals who present challenging behaviour
• 08:30am to 15:30pm
• Moving and handling desirable but not essential
