Do you have a passion for supporting pupils with SEN?

Are you experienced in providing 1:1 and/or Small Group support?

Have you got experience providing personal care/ manual handling support?

We are looking for a passionate and committed, member of staff to take on a full-time SEN support role in a SEN Centre in Cambridge. The centre caters for 20 pupils with complex needs, physical disabilities, Down syndrome, Deafblind, SPLC and ASC.

The Majority of the pupils are wheelchairs users (electric, Standing and tilting) so experience with this would be highly beneficial. The school offer training but they do need someone with some care/ support experience.

The position is a long term role with permanent positions on offer for the right members of staff.

What we need from you:

  • Prior experience supporting pupils with SEN
  • The ability to offer 1:1 support/ personal care and/ or Manual Handling
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Available 3-5 days per week from 9:15am to 4:15pm
  • BSL would be beneficial but not necessary
  • An interested in Media/ Art/ Music/ Cooking would be beneficial but not necessary
