KS2 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an experienced KS2 teaching assistant to work at one of our brilliant schools in the Northwich area. This position is set to start immediately for the remainder of the summer term with the opportunity to continue into the next academic term.

About the role:

• Providing one-to-one and small group intervention support for students with additional learning needs.
• Assisting the teachers with planning and delivering learning activities which target all areas of the national curriculum.
• Developing individual learning and behavioural plans alongside the classroom teacher.
• Recording progress and setting appropriate challenging targets to boost attainment levels.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the National Key Stage Curriculum and stages of child development. Effective communication and listening skills are essential to understanding the needs of pupils and building rapport. We are seeking an individual who is keen to further their career in education and dedicated to providing quality education for al students.

Highlights of this role:

• £1540 - £1800 per month/ paid weekly through PAYE.
• Full-time, immediate and September 2023 starts available.
