Supply Teachers required: Burnley, Nelson & Rossendale area.

Are you currently looking for a new challenge in the form of flexible, rewarding work?

Could you offer your skills on a day to day or medium-term basis covering classes and delivering the Curriculum across primary year groups?

If you hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience within Primary Schools, we want to hear from you.

Owing to the current situation, supply teachers are needed to cover periods of absence due to isolation and staff members having to shield. As a Supply Teacher, you will be offered work across Burnley, Nelson & Rossendale. The work you accept in regards to distance , year group and longevity is your choice, however, we do appreciate flexibility and willingness to consider differing roles. As the UK market leader, Teaching Personnel have built strong relationships with numerous schools over many years and we have become the supplier of choice for many of these schools. Owing to this, it is important that our candidates are on the highest calibre. You must therefore have teaching experience, be confident in delivery of lessons and behaviour management, act upon your own initiative, and be able to provide excellent references.

Working as a supply teacher is a very rewarding job and one where you can impact on learning every day, with different children. You will be expected to deliver the work set by the permanent member of staff you are covering, positively manage behaviour and leave feedback for the class teacher at the end of the day or week. Due to the current situation, roles across schools may vary slightly from face-to-face teaching for key worker and vulnerable children, to remote delivery for children currently studying from home. If this is the case, you will be made aware before accepting the work.

If you are interested in this role, please send an updated copy of your CV to holly.madeley@teachingpersonnel .com or call 01772 386242.

If this doesn’t quite sound like the role for you, but you are seeking employment within the education sector, please also get in touch via the means above.

Teaching Personnel are committed to ensuring the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. Vetting and pre-employment checks including an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
