Job Description:
As a Supply Teacher based in Sale, Greater Manchester, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your primary duty will be to ensure that the learning objectives and curriculum requirements are met during your assignment.
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's policies and procedures
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents to support student development
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- A degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience in teaching or working with children
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience in working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
- Full-time hours on a contract basis
- Work in various schools within the North West England region
- Salary range of £120 - £140 per day
- Potential for long-term assignments based on performance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
