Supply Teacher – Primary (Portsmouth)
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Salary: £120–£200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible / Day-to-Day / Short-Term / Long-Term

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to cover classes across a range of primary schools in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience different school settings, year groups, and teaching styles, with the freedom to choose when and where you work.
What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (based on your preference and experience)

Following school plans and maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour

Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Providing feedback to the school at the end of the day
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Recent teaching experience in a UK primary school setting
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
-
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
