Supply Teacher
Job description
Our client secondary schools in the South Manchester areas of the city centre, specifically Chorlton, Levenshulme, Didsbury, Stretford and Trafford are looking for supply teachers who can provide general cover in a range of subjects on a flexible basis. The successful teachers should be qualified teachers who have QTS or have completed a PGCE, SCITT or Teach First. Our client schools are looking for teachers of all specialisms, whether it is English, Maths, Music, Art or Humanities for example.
A lot of the teaching work available is flexible and with access to an online diary, the successful teacher(s) can manage when they want to work completely flexibly. This may be on a full-time basis or more part time, sporadic work as required. We often find that supply teaching can lead to long term work so any teachers looking for more consistent work are encouraged to apply now for more information. These roles would suit a teacher who is otherwise engaged with another role, a teacher of any experience level looking for short term or long term work or even an ECT who has found themselves looking for work in a school setting.
Highlights of general supply work:
- Pay ranging up to £150 per day depending on experience and subject specialism (and specific school)
- Earning potential up to £3000 per month
- Provide general cover in local secondary schools in the South Manchester areas of Chorlton, Levenshulme, Didsbury, Stretford and Trafford
- Work in a range of secondary schools on a flexible basis
- Opportunities to teach in a variety of secondary schools and gain consistent work
- Flexible work giving you option to work as much or as little to fit in with your schedule
A lot of the secondary schools in the South Manchester area work with Teaching Personnel a on a regular daily basis requiring general supply teachers who are available throughout term time. Schools located in the surrounding areas are also available such as Whalley Range, Rusholme, Didsbury, Levenshulme and Old Trafford.
We work with a range of schools including those that are outstanding rated by Ofsted as well as those that are more challenging with regards behaviour. There is therefore a range of options and schools which suit the skills and abilities of many teachers.
