Are you a Newly qualified Teacher (NQT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FTQ)? Do you hold  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Are you seeking work for when the schools open again? Have you considered working on supply?

Teaching Personnel work with Primary, Secondary and Special Education Needs Schools across North Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Specifically, we are recruiting qualified Teachers with varying subject specialisms to work on a supply basis. As a supply teacher you will be required to work across schools within your catchment area.

Working on supply means you will be available to cover day-to-day, short-term and long-term bookings. You may therefore be required to cover absence due to periods of sickness, training days, school trips, maternity leave etc.

Being a supply teacher will enable you to manage your own time and availability. You have the opportunity to work part-time or full-time depending on your prior commitments. For teachers who are seeking full time work and are flexible to travel across the area, we can consider offering Guaranteed Work Schemes. It is also possible for temporary positions to roll permanently depending on the teacher and needs of the school.

To be successful in these positions you must therefore have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Subject Specialism
  • Proven recent teaching experience in the UK
  • Flexibility to work across schools
  • A good sense of humour
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
