Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team in the Axminster area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools, supporting teaching and learning in the absence of regular teachers. This role offers flexibility and the chance to gain valuable experience in the field of education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities effectively, maintaining continuity of learning.
- Manage student behaviour in line with school policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
- Support students in their learning by providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school leadership to report on student progress and any issues that arise during cover sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work with varying age groups.
- Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of different schools and assignments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
