Student Support Worker

About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and reliable Student Support Worker to join our team in supporting students to achieve their personal, academic, and social goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on making a real difference in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students, both in and outside the classroom.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning experiences.
- Support students with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
- Liaise with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and incidents.
About You
- Empathetic, patient, and approachable with a genuine interest in student wellbeing.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Able to adapt to changing situations and individual student needs.
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is an advantage.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or health & social care are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
