We’re looking for resilient, proactive, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behaviour Support Mentors – working directly with children and young people who need extra support to thrive in education and beyond.

- Psychology or criminology graduates keen to apply their knowledge in real-life settings
- Social workers or support workers with experience in behaviour or trauma-informed practice

- Youth workers, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience supporting young people

As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you’ll:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional or social challenges
- Build strong relationships that foster trust and respect
- De-escalate incidents calmly and confidently
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies and support plans
- Act as a role model, coach, and steady presence in a young person’s day
What You’ll Need:
- Natural resilience, empathy, and a sense of humour
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, consistent and fair approach to behaviour
- Experience working with young people (formal or informal)
- A current DBS or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
