Are you a Sports Graduate or coach? Would you like to work in Schools? Are you a Sports Graduate or a Sports Coach who is thinking about a career in education, training as a PE/Sports Teacher?

If you have answered yes to the above then this role is for you!

Teaching Personnel are looking for confident, personable and experienced Sports Graduates and Sports Coaches who are available for flexible work in Secondary school in Ebbw Vale. You would be working as a teaching assistant supporting pupils on an alternative curriculum. That is why we are seeking a sports coach who would be able to take the pupils out of the classroom to do sports. 

The ideal sports coach will need to be proactive and ambitious and want to succeed. You will ideally have experience in an educational setting, but it is not essential. Having a sporting background or coaching qualification will be beneficial. 

Although you will not necessarily work in the school's PE department, the roles will involve small group PE sessions. Having access to your own transport would be desirable. The pay will vary between GBP57 and GBPP65 per day (based on 6 hours of work) depending on your experience and on the role.

The school is a 3-16 school that is heavily linked within the community. This school has good transport links and is situated by a train station. However having your own transport would be beneficial for the role as you will work across the two sites (primary and secondary).

You will have access to a number of Free CPD courses to get you ready to work in education. Moreover, if you are a Sports Graduate wanting to become a teacher, you will have Free access to a 36 hours online course which will prepare you for a career in teaching as well as being invaluable evidence to support your Teacher Training application.
