Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Dereham Area

Location: Dereham, Norfolk (home-based or local school placements)
Hours: Part-time / Flexible / Full-time

About the Role:
TP Tutors is currently seeking a dedicated and patient 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students in the Dereham area. In this role, you will work closely with learners to help them overcome learning barriers, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring sessions may take place in students’ homes, schools, or community settings, depending on the learner’s needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact on their education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths, or Science

• Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities

• Monitor and track student progress and provide regular feedback

• Build positive and professional relationships with students and families

• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience

• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently

• Flexibility to travel within the Dereham area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
