Have you been a Lifeguard seeking an exciting new challenge over the off season?
Teaching Personnel is offering a teaching assistant role for Lifeguards to work with young people in Cornwall. This role is available on a part-time supply basis as well as on a long-term basis.
As a teaching assistant you will be working closely with a student who struggles with social, emotional, and behavioural issues with the aim to improve behaviour, self-esteem and self-confidence and helping the student to re-engage with education. Lifeguards work exceptionally well in this setting as children often see them as role models and the affinity for sports is often something that helps build relationships.
Your typical day could involve- Kayaking, Biking, Cannoning, Surfing, Rock Climbing, trips to the farm, Cycling and or Outdoor Education. All bespoke Outdoor learning is used to teach students social aspects of life and learning through positive experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
