Sports Coach work in Ashford, opportunity to work as a sports coach in a modern and well facilitated SEN school.

Required at our client SEN school in Ashford, experienced sports coach to support students for PE lessons and extra curricular activities, including football, rugby, cricket, hockey, dance and gymnastics, ensuring they are able to fully access the sports programme during their time at school, and to promote health and well being.

- Full time position working as a sports coach at a SEN School

- Provide additional support to students who need strong role models in sport.

- Earn £55 - £70 per day as a sports coach.

Our client school is a large modern SEN school just outside Ashford. The school puts the pupils at the heart of everything it does and the school believes sport can help all pupils engage with school life and ensure they have a healthy mind, body and soul.

As a sports coach, you will work closely with the PE teaching staff along with delivering sessions to small groups or individuals to key students. You will be working closely with the PE teachers and other associate staff to ensure that students maintain full access to the curriculum.

Requirements for Sports Coaches

* Degree specialising in sport, physical education or sport development or similar subject

* Previous experience supporting young people aged 11- 16 in educational setting

* The ability to build rapport with students who may have barriers to learning
