Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large, high-performing secondary school in the Southampton area to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The Role

You will join a dedicated Maths department, delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Maths lessons
  • Monitoring and supporting student progress to maximise attainment
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Supporting the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • A passion for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Commitment to high standards and student achievement
  • A reflective practitioner keen to develop professionally
