Sports Coach needed in Launceston ASAP

Exciting new opportunity for you to join A School in Launceston as a Sports Activity Leader. We are recruiting on behalf of a School to look for a Sports Coach to start ASAP. This will be full time 5 days a week ongoing. Your role will be to motivate and inspire SEN/SEMH children to get active whilst having fun! This will be a permanent seasonal role on a casual contract but you can find up to 40 hours per week.

Sports Coach Job Role:

  • Plan delivery of programmes, activities and actions effectively using materials
  • Motivating and inspiring children aged from 4 up to 12 years of age
  • Engaging and liaising with staff members to ensure pupils are on task in day to day activity.
  • Ensure the health and safety of children, clients and team at all times
  • Make sure that you, the site and team are compliant with all policies and procedures

Sports Coach Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school or a leisure centre environment
  • Be well organised and demonstrate leadership skills
  • To be able to work effectively in teams and as an individual, always maintain a professional approach to work
  • Level 3 in Sports Coaching, Activity Leadership or Child Care (relevant routes accepted)
  • A valid DBS is required (which can be obtained if successful in the role)
  • Be fun and have the ability to remain positive in stressful situations
  • Have a full clean Driving Licence

The Role

Hours: 08:30-14:30 5 Days a week.

Duration: Permanent

Pay: £65-70 a day

Location: Launceston
