Sports Coach

A large and popular secondary school located in the Walkden area of Salford are currently looking to recruit a confident and dynamic Sports Coach to support the PE department with delivering lessons at short notice and supporting pupils who lack focus with their learning.

Highlights of the Sports Coach role:

-          Full-time Sports Coach (March 2020 – July 2020)

-          Earning GBP1200 a month, paid weekly

-          Fantastic opportunity for a Sports Graduate who is looking to progress in their career or who are considering a career in secondary teaching / PGCE

Applicant skills and requirements:

-          A genuine passion and interest for sport and working with young people

-          Strong behaviour and classroom management is essential

-          Able to inspire and engage pupils aged 11-16

-          Work successfully as part of a team

-          Have a sports related degree or be in the final year, or relevant coaching qualifications

The incoming Sports Coach will join a thriving and supportive secondary school in the Walkden area of Salford and is very accessible from areas such Swinton, Farnworth and Tyldesley.  The school can be reached just off the M60 and M61 motorway and via local public transport links from in and around of Salford. The school is a modern new build with fantastic learning facilities! The culture of the school is very positive, working in line with it’s pupil centred approach to learning.
