Sports Coach

A school in Cheshire East is looking for a Sports Coach, or an individual with similar transferrable skills, to join the support staff on a temporary basis. Experience delivering sessions to large groups of children is imperative.

Highlights of this role:

• Delivering sport sessions in accordance with school curriculum, working closely with the PE department.
• Helping children with behavioural issues and enforcing the school’s policy with regards to behaviour expectations.
• Working with children with SEN, and helping to ensure that the needs of these individuals are efficiently catered for.
• Working with children whose first language may not necessarily be English, being understanding of the complexities that these children will often face within the school setting.
• Being able to effectively adapt to differing classes, as well as being versatile in their approach.
• Pay - GBP275-350 per week, based on prior experience.

It is essential that the required applicant:

• Can deliver sessions to large groups of children.
• Is competent across a wide range of Sports.
• Is able to differentiate sessions to cater for the needs of all students attending.
• Can manage behaviour effectively, in line with school policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
