Sports Coach

Sports Coach - Supervising Sports practise and delivering Physical Education to Students aged 11-18!

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Sports Coach, for a partner Secondary School who wish to appoint for the new academic year, starting September. The main aims of this role will be to raise attainment in PE, and to provide additional support to Students and the class Teacher within the BTEC and GCSE PE syllabus.

As a Sports Coach working within our client school no school day will be the same;

• You will be responsible for setting up the class and ensuring all preparation is done ahead of time for each lesson.

• You will take warm up sessions and run small group activities with support from the main class teacher.

• You will support the teacher during the classroom based PE lessons, supporting students through there coursework and ensuring that they remain on task.

• You may also have the opportunity to get involved with the set up of extra curricular activities such as the school football team, sports days and the athletics teams.

This is a great opportunity for Graduates who are aspiring Teachers of the future, as you will develop key skills throughout your time in School. You will also be able to practice the main fundamentals of teaching.

The Role;

• Sports Coach starting in September 2019, or sooner

• The School are offering employment for a year to the successful candidate

• You will have the opportunity to earn up £1000-£1400 a month

• Working with students aged 11-16 in both practical and classroom based settings

• Possible opportunity to cover classes in the absence of the class teacher (Developing key skills if you wish to become a teacher in the future)
