- Sports Coach Teaching Assistant / Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Full Time Hours Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
- Based in York
The Role:
- As a recent Sports Graduate or qualified Sports Coach, you will be working as a Teaching Assistant with Key Stage 3 and 4 students who attend a special needs school in York
- This position offers the flexibility of either full time or part time hours, supporting vulnerable students
- As well as supporting within lessons and helping to engage students, there is the opportunity to lead PE sessions and help students achieve their potential
- Whether you have direct experience in Schools or not, this could be a suitable position if you are looking to begin a career in Education
The School:
- The school is warm and welcoming and has an inclusive and holistic approach to teaching and learning
- As a special school, they provide a person-centred curriculum and focus on their young people's social and emotional progression, as well as their academic needs
- With some students displaying challenging behaviour, ASC, SLCN and complex SEMH, it is essential that you follow the school's policies and work alongside other education professionals, such as Social Workers, CAMHS and the School's Senior Leadership Team
About Teaching Personnel:

- You will gain access to Teaching Personnel's own 'Track and Trace' app to effectively manage the coronavirus situation, when entering schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
