Sports Coach

We are working with an outstanding secondary school looking for a sports coach to join their PE department, able to support across their department with students and teachers. Our highly rated school holds state-of-the art facilities, as well an excellent staffing support system which will support you in this role.

Graduates of sports, or previous sporting coacher would be a perfect fit for this role. A passion for working with children and developing their knowledge on the importance of PE is the candidate we are looking for. You will be required to support across KS3 and KS4 level and may be required to cover lessons, as well as keeping up to date with the national curriculum.

This role is ideal for those looking to get in to teaching, as the school also provides excellent ‘Future Teacher Programmes’.

Our Rochdale based school is widely accessible by all transport and has main bus routes running close by along with on-site staff parking.

Key responsibilities:

• Create fun, yet informative lesson plans that all students can participate in
• Monitor student behaviour
• Identify under achieving students and adapt lessons to their ability
• Provide catch-up sessions to underachieving students
• Take on after school sports clubs
