Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a full-time cover supervisor to work across our secondary schools in Rochdale. Our partner schools have an outstanding staffing systems, offering support to all staff members, along with an ‘outstanding’ and ‘good’ Ofsted ratings.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join their rewarding team. The successful candidate will start this January until the end of the academic year, covering pre-planned lessons to classes of approximately 30 students.

 You will be supporting classes across a range of subjects and year groups and must monitor behaviour in the classroom, as well as ensuring students are completing work set. It is a great opportunity for those looking for flexible work, and those seeking experience if they are pursuing a career in teaching.

Our secondary schools offer parking for all members of staff, they are also situated close to main bus routes and the M60. This is a part-time position, and you will be required three days a week, which you can be flexible in choosing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Confident in delivering classes up to 30 students
  • Working closely with other members of staff including teaching assistants
  • Ensuring behaviour is always kept to a good standard
  • Report any safeguarding concerns

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
