Sports Coach, Blackburn

Teaching Personnel work with a number of Schools in the Lancashire area who cater for pupils who cannot remain in mainstream education and there is a huge demand at the moment for candidates with a sports background. The Schools are located all over Lancashire, however, at the moment we are recruiting heavily for Blackburn based Schools. The Schools are looking for candidates to support pupils with SEMH Difficulties and SEN and on occasion, deliver sports lessons. I must stress, that although the Schools are looking for candidates with a sports background, this is not necessarily a sports coaching role - you will be expected to work with pupils in all subjects.

The Schools are hoping to appoint hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and resilient candidates with a sports background to work with pupils who can often display challenging behaviours. The Schools tend to work from 8.30am - 3.30pm and we ideally expect candidates to work across a number of Schools so car drivers will be favoured, but this is not essential.

The candidates must be hard working, empathetic, experienced in working with children and a passion for working with pupils who are harder to reach.
